Back from Helsinki, we are going to stage again our Pixxelmusic performance (Rez VS Elektroplankton) in Lubjiana, on Fryday, the 30th of May. The event will take place at 6pm, at Kiberpipa/Cyberpipe, Kersnikova 6, Ljubljana, in the context of the "Video Match 08" festival. With me, again Marco Germini and Paolo Tonon. Come join us!

I will spend the next 4 weeks in Finland to work with the usability experts team of Etnoteam Finland, a division of Value Team fully dedicated to improven the user experience in different media.

The eight edition of Pixxelpoint, international new media arts festival organized in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and Gorizia (Italia) is opening on Friday, Dec.7. For the third year, I curate the Pixxelmusic New Media Symposium dedicated to the interactions between music and video in digital art. All the program of the event here.

On November 9, in Vicenza (Monotono, Viale Milano 60, 9.00pm), I will participate in a round table of the CREATIVE R'EVOLUTION 2 event organized by Fuoribiennale with Bruce Sterling, Valentina Tanni, Massimiliano Bucchi and Cristiano Seganfreddo. Everyone invited!

The book Unstable Cinema, edited by Cosetta G. Saba and me is out now. It collects a series of essays on the relation between cinema and contemporary visual arts. Among the contributors: Mark Nash, Gabriele Jutz, Berta Sichel, Marc Plas, Valentina Valentini.

In the "text" session, my paper on machinima as acts of worldmaking (European Summer School in Cultural Studies) is now available.

Back home, I am working hard on the editing of two new books: Unstable Cinema, co-edited with Cosetta Saba, a collection of essays and articles on the relations between film and other arts (in English and French), and Rez. Estetica del codice, arte del videogioco, for the Ludologica series.
